Our Team

Shift Traffic is led by the company Directors Chris Morley and Rob Blackburn who employ a team made up of over 90 members of full-time staff.

Chris offers 30 years’ experience managing sections on schemes as big as the Tour de France, while Rob has co-ordinated the traffic management for all road events held in London for the 2012 London Olympics.

As with any other business, our team of loyal staff are our biggest asset. Our policy to promote from within adds value while seeking additionally required resource as we grow the company size. Our customers enjoy the benefits of ongoing staff retention and an approachable, relaxed ‘family’ atmosphere. This conveyor belt of talent embeds both the company ethos and an ingrained work ethic. All backed by their knowledge of the industry, gained from the ground up.

As professionalism is our watchword all staff not only receive rigorous initial training but are required to complete an ongoing CPD programme.

A smart appearance portrays professionalism, so all staff, including the office-based members, wear branded uniforms.

To maintain these high standards, Shift Traffic Events operates a continual programme of 15% internal auditing and 100% desktop auditing being carried out by the Operations team, to ensure both continuous quality and consistency of service.

We operate a paperless system across the business.  All RAMS, certificate’s and accreditations are held by each team member on-site with access to our cloud-based server to gain access to all site plans and permits.

Our fleet of vans and lorries can accommodate all client requirements. We run a modern fleet of vehicles for efficiency, reliability and to meet the company’s green credentials.
